Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms and very kind and friendly service. The location was perfect for my trip, although I expected a bit more from a 'Best' Western. The facilities were well-kept, making my stay enjoyable.
Upon arrival, the receptionist kindly offered us two single rooms suitable for a person with mobility issues but lacked dedicated facilities for those with specific walking or showering needs. The rooms, although spacious, appeared a bit tired but met basic cleanliness standards.
The hotel is situated conveniently for Black Forest touring but may not be ideal for leisure walks due to limited greenery. The rooms meet high standards in cleanliness and amenities, although they are old-fashioned and overlook a busy road. The service was a mix of helpfulness and rudeness, with friendly assistance for special requests but unwelcoming check-in experiences. The dining offers a decent breakfast buffet but lacks variety in other meals. Overall, a good value for the location and room quality.
I found the hotel to be in a convenient location not far from the main street, despite the noise from the Theaterformen. The junior suite we booked was clean and satisfactory for our needs, but I was not impressed with the service for the extra charge for using the double bed. As a stopover on our way to the UK, the location served its purpose well, but I was hoping for more greenery around the area.
Upon checking in, the hotel offered two single rooms with showers, which were clean and comfortable, catering to someone with mobility challenges. The breakfast was very good, and the bed was exceptionally cozy. However, the facilities were not specifically designed for guests with disabilities.
